Pokémon Guardians Rising Info

Very soon the Pokémon Guardians Rising will be released! We will be hosting two Prerelease events for Guardians rising! One on Saturday, April 29th and the other on Sunday, April 30th!

There’s a new program Pokémon is implementing for the release of Sun & Moon – Guardians Rising. Stores, like us, who host Prerelease Events will get to sell Guardians Rising product a few days early! We’ll be selling all the usual stuff on Monday, May 1st rather than the release day of May 5th.

Wondering what Prerelease Events are?

At a Pokémon Prerelease, players will get a Prerelease box which contains:
22-card Evolution pack featuring key cards from current and prior sets
4 Sun & Moon—Guardians Rising booster packs
1 of 4 alternate-art promo cards

Players will open all of the booster packs and use them to build a 40 card deck out of what they opened (we will provide any energies players need). The 22 card Evolution pack has some Trainer cards and some Pokémon to help you build your deck! If any of the players need help building a deck either the Pokémon Professor or one of her helpers will help out. Once everyone is done building their deck, players will be paired up to play a game! (When it’s a Prerelease, players play with 4 Prize cards instead of the usual 6.) This will happen 2 more times for a total of 3 rounds. At the end of the 3 rounds all players will get 3 Prize Boosters and 1 additional prize booster for each time they won.

  1. Hello i would like to ask a few questions about the Pokemon Guardians Rising Pre-Release event that’s going to take place next week. First of all, will there be a price to pay to enter this event, because i know another place that charges $30 or so per person. Another thing, how long will this event be? Please get back to me as soon as possible

    1. Hi,
The price of the Prerelease event is $35, we suggest if you want to ensure your spot to preregister for the event as we sell out. You can check out here how to do that. People usually spend 40-50mins building their deck then each of the 3 rounds takes around 35mins. So that’s just under 3 hours. Let me know if you have any other questions!
